Meso V5 turn signals are out!!!!

1 harness needed. Tie BOTH LEFT and RIGHT turn signals together and tap into supplied harness

@MESO (or anyone) do the OG ultimate turns fit 2021? I’ve got the V5 and I’m selling my originals but the site says they fit 15-20 while also saying 15+ somewhere else. I’m guessing they fit all 3rd gens and the 15-20 page just hasn’t been updated?

 

I got the v5’s (white drl) and harness from Meso. Connected the red and white wires. I don’t see a difference in brightness (Dim or bright) when I turn on the high and low beams

To what wires/location?

You shouldn't. The change is if they are connected to an IGN fused source (Bright) and/or Tails or Low beams for (Dim).

The red and white wires from the V5’s side mirror run through the door, through the trucks driver side firewall and connected to meso’s harness which is connected to them led headlights. I assumed doing this would give me drl functionality, bright and dim.

This was the reason I got the Meso harness, in order to have drl and it’s other functionalities. I couldn’t find any information about this on his website.

 

I don't have info on the Meso harness for the LED headlights. What side is it connected to and what color wires does it tap into?

 

Meso’s harness has a red and white pigtail to connect the v5’s red and white wires. This harness is connected to the drivers side headlights.

 

That I know, what wires/colors are tapped at the headlight?

 

Just curious, did your DRL have bright and dim functions, I think I heard all models and trims don’t? On mine, a 20, the V5s work as designed using the harness. They are bright in DRL mode then dim once in low beam mode.

Are you 100% positive? The first version harness to the headlights tapped the tail circuit (dim), which made them dim BEFORE selecting Low Beams.

 

i have a 2017 TRD OR with the tech package. I don’t know the answer to the question you’re asking, sorry.

 

Id have to look at the stalk to make sure what the setting above DRL is. In that video, I started at DRL, on click up (low beam maybe) back to DRl, then off, back to DRL.

 

I could have asked it messed up lol. If I did, sorry about that, if I did ask it right and it make sense, no worries.

 

OFF-DRL-TAIL-LOW Beams

Green is DRL
Pink is TAIL/PARK
So, NO, they do not dim when selecting Low to High Beam and visa versa.
Bright = DRL
Dim = TAIL/PARK

 

So the harness was meant to just have drl functionality only then.

I’m just reading that others have the drl, bright and dim functionality and thought I would get the same results with the harness. How are other people connecting the red and white wires?
