So today at work I was reading thru some of the local news online. I saw and AD for a dog kennel that is in desperate need of finding homes for dogs. As an animal person, I looked at the list of dogs. A few of you might remember back in August I had to make the decision to put my 16 year old dog down. It was a hard decision, but one that had to be made. My dog that I put down was named Lotus, and he was a black and white border collie. While I was looking thru the list of adopatable dogs, I saw a border collie mix named Lotus that needed a home. Lotus and Lotus looks very very similiar. What is the possibility of someone else naming there dog Lotus, being a border collie, and being black and white? I dont really feel like a religious person, but stuff like this makes me really wonder if that wasn't my old dog Lotus letting me know he was thinking of me.

This is a cool story.....and its time to go get Lotus. I lost my flatcoated retriever in 2006 after 16 years his name was "Jake". Still think of him and man do I miss him.

What's the difference between taking 2 dogs for a walk and taking 3?
