I will remember this the next time I rob a bank so I know when to get away! :quickdraw:

The physics behind how PI’s work is interesting, but I never realized how sensitive they were to EM interference that emanates from so far away! I wonder if they also go off when there’s solar flare and aurora activity as well?

    Sounds very interesting!
    I have two concerns:
1- I will do some research and investigating on gold prospects.
2- We will need to get out there fairly soon. The summer heat is coming.

Here’s a pretty good report about the Quartzite area, the best places are the La Paz placers to the west, but they are on reservation lands and are off limits though.

    https://pubs.usgs.gov/bul/0620c/report.pdf

I was learning about using the 4500 in different conditions, so we visited the Plomosa, Middle Camp and Orofino areas. There were lots more shafts and adits, and quartz float all over the ridges in the Middle Camp and Orofino areas. It was just for a couple hours in each place over the same day, and we didnt find any oro in any one of the places. But if done more carefully, I would expect one would find some there.

The summer heat is definitely an issue- it hit 100 the afternoon I was there and it definately slowed me down, but I can deal with it. Maybe we should find a higher place to try if we are going to go to AZ. In California, the Rand area is getting hot too, so there’s another backburner place to try in fall.

If it's already 100 degrees in Quartzite, we have missed the boat for the season.
Unless: we watch the weather for the next 2-3 weekends and see cool temps coming for one of those weekends.
How much lead time do you fellas need to make a trip such as this?

I’m kind of stuck having to do it on weekends. If you guys want to go out on a weekday, I’ll have to watch the videos later as long as you’re willing to share the gold, I won’t say anything!

A 3-5 day notice is good.
