I'm pretty sure the one I got is a piece of junk... but the price was right. I haven't tried it yet, but we have several camping trips coming up at the pacific ocean.

For the money, who cares. I'm sure it will be fine. I wanted be cool like the youtubers and not have to bend over.

 

It's less like cleaning the kitty litter box and more like treasure hunting when you don't have to bend over.

 

My "retrieval preference" is to... *COUGH* bend over *COUGH* It's actually easier for me, but that is "my style".

Finally getting out! My wife wants to go to the beach this weekend. I am thinking ahead and getting my Nox ready but it will probably be a big…

 

He had it under good authority there was gold bars buried under his house....

 

My dark colored towel and knee pads (for the wet ground) came in today. Hopefully the new towel doesn't get dingy so fast.

 

Today I found a buried old fire pit in the back corner of the yard. Burnt cans, lots of burned wood chunks, a large metal piece that looked like a crumpled car part, and a garbage bag... full of old trash. The milk carton only had the plastic coating remaining, but I couldn't find the expiration date.

I'm done in that corner of the yard.

 

My Garrett Ace 400 showed up today. Took it out in the back yard and found a bunch of bolts and large wood staples.

 

So long as you didnt find teeth...

 

You sound like my wife. She said I'm going to find a body or an animal soon. Hopefully they have gold fillings.

Eh. I have another garden rake. Don't use it often so not too worried.

 

Ah, but you could’ve used it to rake down tailing piles, duff and leaves in your search for riches ‘n gold!

 

My first beach hunt. Just trash. The beach was surprisingly clean so that's a good thing. It's still early for lots of people being out although there was a few. We could have gone to a more packed beach but that means more people. Lol

Detected a little in the back yard today. Found a plate from a dog collar with a neighbor's info which was kinda cool. And 11¢ in modern change.
