Dropped off camper and boat at storage in boulder city.... looked at our apartment complex in kingman while our house gets built. Yep kingman will be home

 

Good for you! I like Arizona and I like Kingman.
I spent a summer in Phoenix as a teen and had a blast. I won't spend another summer there, though.

 

Nah phoenix is too hot, but lots to explore, and metal detect, lots of fishing to be done

The southbound between the dam and Kingman were terrible.

 

Yeah they were...north bound wasnt as bad, but not smooth. Vegas was wavy too

I got permission to hunt a place that it is rumored that Francis Marion(Swamp Fox) and his troops were on during the Revolutionary War. I'm super excited. I am meeting the owner of the farm this weekend. He says that there are several really old home and barn foundations on the property.

I imagine you will find something or another. Has the area been inhabited since the Revolutionary War?

 

That, I do not know. I will get all the history that I can when I meet with the owner.
I have a lead on another property that I am working on getting permission for that has been inhabited since 1715, or so. The same family has owned it since 1871. I'm really hoping for a shot at that place too.

 

I have a Garrett Seahunter MK2 and plenty of scuba gear.

Will travel, although I'm not a fan of cold water.

Yeah, there is LOTS of history around here...both Civil War and Revolutionary War. Research is half the fun of all this, as I am just starting to realize. I'm learning a lot that I didn't know. Rather than swing in random areas, I'd like to figure out really good likely spots.
