Breast plates and a lock? Hmmmm... Sorry... it’s Saturday night

We did a archaeological dig once behind what ended up being a bar and house of ill refute during the prohibition, they had some really weird stuff like metal toys of the type I imagine you can imagine, clamp type things and wrist cuffs.
    stuff!

To be honest it's been a few years since I researched it, I use a 12v battery charger but it has to be a certain type... I think harbor freight has one that works... then just any old piece of steel/ iron like rebar or something and a plastic 5 gallon bucket. I'll have to post some before and after pics in here but its really impressive on really crusty iron objects like that lock

That is actually what I try to do around here. When they clear some old woods, I try to find out if I can detect it. It helps if you can explain to them that whatever is on it will be lost forever when something is built there.

Good you’re going to join a club, and it was pretty funny you said you would’ve just gone when you were younger, I would’ve done the same thing. Arizona protect your property laws are strict enough- always ask first down there!!

In gold country, if you ever see a construction crew digging trenches and piling dirt anywhere, hit those up too!

Prolly wouldn't hurt to pick up some literature on Arizona gold. I can recommend two books: Placer Gold Deposits of Arizona by Maureen Johnson and Arizona Gold Placers and Placering by Eldred Wilson. Maureen really does her homework. The bibliography is 12 pages in a 100 page book! Her book comes with a fold out map illustrating mining districts in the state along with gold production numbers. It even shows the Kingman District!
