    Also found out last night you can use old bottle bottoms to make arrow heads! I saw a few yesterday now ill have to go back and get them.

    This guy was just digging...no metal detector no acknowledgement i was there. I almost walked up on him! I really wasnt paying attention and heard some scratching noises.

    Is the nail a horseshoe nail? Maybe the round thing is a spur? And the #10 on the bottle bottom is a mold number, whiskey sized maybe? Obviously a HUI accident scene (horse-riding under the influence).

    Didn't get out to the old campsites, and all I found today was some rusty bearings and lots of bullets in a mine dump full of pretty quartz rock that had black tourmaline in it. More fun today!:rolleyes:
    Will get closeups soon...

    Ive seen nice arrowheads made from old TV tube glass and coke bottle bottoms... very pretty ones too!

    This area i was in, theres tons of old broke glass, cans etc...about the same age as the other stuff ive found. This area must have been a layer of trash everywhere! Its cool to find older stuff like this spur. I also found a bearing but didnt keep it
