I live in N. AB (Edm) where we get a lot of snow.

    I am looking to replace my stock (crappy) 245 65 16's w/ Michelin 265 70 16's

I know it'll set my speedo out a touch (5 mph at 60).

However, it will give the truck more of presence (2" higher)

    I am wondering about :
    1). wheel clearance and
2). if this is decent tire

Costco says it is and will fit fine.

Thoughts/experiences welcomed re : this tire and the possible upsize from stock?

On a non 5-lugger (I don'y know what you have) that is the factory size for TRD off roads. They don't rub. I like those tires alot. They are very quiet and handle very well in the rain (don't know about other conditions from being that my dad has them and its in socal).

your stock size is 245/75/16 ;)

same size as the 265/70/16's you're looking to replace with, so no it's won't affect your speedo at 60 mph will be 59.7mph = nothing ;p
