its a Toyota truck and that's all the modifications needed
probably cause they didn't use the Haweeka adapter the stock rims are Lug centric that means they got to be balanced with the lug holes hence the use of that adapter or equivalent, most shops will use the standard hub adapter on the OEM Toyota rims with cause some high speed vibs. or could be alignment issue too,its not the tires

Yes, it was on the stock TRD aluminum wheels.

But not really. Apparently the first shop didn't even do a dynamic balance.

I discussed the Haweka to the manager of the second shop, and he said they did not have one, but he was pretty sure they could do it without. And if I wasn't happy, no charge.

They were able to do it. No Haweka, no Road Force, no beads, no BS.

I think the point is, the chance of these particular tires creating a problem are probably next to nil. I have never heard of anyone having an issue myself.

yes some talented tire service people can balance them without the adapter on the regular hub centric balancer, I had my Firestone Destinations Roadforce balanced with a Haweeka and they still sucked ass[IMG]

I got me the A/T2. Man I love these tires. They ride great ! Thanks OP for posting this thread because it made me stop and rethink these tires. I was going to go with the MS 2 but after reading all of this thread and then reading the reviews I decided on the A/T 2.

    Question:
I have 4 yokohama yk-htx tires on my 2010 highlander, size: 245/65R17, bought and installed by DT less than 6k miles ago and they started making road noise.
I am thinking of buying 4 new AT2, put them on the highlander and move 4 Yokohama tires to the Tacoma sport rims (17").

    Will that work?
I mean, will the tires 245/65/R17 fit on the tacoma rims? Truck has no lift.

    Thanks
