Couldn’t find the answer and exact combo on google.

Does anyone know how I wire my MICTUNING switch to this Rigid harness? It has no relay if that matters. I just want to know the way to attach this to the switch. I have all the tools and parts to do it.

    Thanks!

Do you have a wire diagram for both sets of wires? One of the four on the plug side is so your plug lights up with your other lights.

    What are you powering?

First off, you really want a relay unless for some reason you want full voltage and amps to power your lights flowing through the switch. (Hint: you don’t.)

Green and red 1 control the switch. Green comes either from your power source or the signal source for the relay, red goes back to the light or relay to open it. So for example, if you want to wire driving lights so they turn on with the beams, green would connect to the high beam wire you tap for a signal, and red1 goes back to the relay to turn them on. If wiring directly off the battery so the lights can be on any time, green connects to the battery and red1 will send power to the lights or relay. If you only want them on when the ignition is hot, you’ll have to find a suitable source wire that’s only got power when the key is on.

A relay is really easy to add. Heck MICtuning makes a nice 12ga heavy duty wiring harness that with modifications is perfect to use for $20.

    And a wiring diagram.

Red 2 and black are for the switch lighting. I used the bed light plug positive (see my post towards the end of @Nitori SR fog light thread for wiring the switch) and the 10mm bolt under the dash for the switch light. If you connect red2 directly to the battery, the light on the switch will never turn off and you’ll drain your battery.

    Appreciate the advice!

So I ended up going to 4WP today and buying another harness with the relay built in. Got it wired together quickly and didn’t skimp on the wire management.

After doing a bit of research and asking the guys who worked on my Tacoma, I was convinced I needed the relay for that switch. I ended up actually purchasing another OEM switch from Caliraised, with “Ditch Pods” instead of LED bar that came in today too. I’ll save it for my eventual bar.

It works great. Got it wired up in formerly empty slot to the bottom left of the steering wheel.
