    Hello TW. I am looking to do a some metal fab or custom exhaust work for TW members in my spare time.

    All work will be done out of a professional shop. I am a certified welder that formally owned a fab shop. Now I have a full time day job in another industry, But still enjoy turning out professional work in my spare time at a very competitive price, to fund larger purchases for my taco while continuing to create cool parts.

    I can build tube bumpers, roll cages, bed cages, bed racks, rock sliders (100% bolt on no extra holes drilled, or weld on), etc. Mig welding, gig welding as well as sheet metal work and tube bending. I also have a full set of custom exhaust tubing and access to wholesale exhaust pricing. I am located in Santa Clarita, California. I will also entertain trades for work in the form of tacoma parts, firearms, roof top tents, tools, ect

    Heres are a few pics of some past work. More pics available if needed. Pm me for inquires or pricing.

    ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
    Looking for a spare tire set up for my 05, something kinda like the photo below. Can you give me a basic price? I don't have the full bed cage so would just want to tie into the rear frame area.
    Thanks,
    Brent

    We are about to become fast friends Jason as you are local to me. You say you can do exhaust as well? There are Y-Pipe kits out there that eliminate the back two cats on my 2014 aclb. They are bolt on kits so you can put the cats back on to smog the truck. Here is an example.

    http://shop.dougthorleyheaders.com/products/exhausts-89227

    Could you do something like this?

    @Redgrom Pm inbound. Looks like a pretty simple build

    @cfayne Yeah I did exhaust for 8 years prior to my current job. I've actually been wanting to do something similar to the urd test pipe. I'll shoot you a pm and we can discuss whether you want reignators, material, etc

    @New World Taco sounds good

    I might be interested in the same thing. Would be nice to get the Cat back in easily for smog tests.

    Super excited about meeting a metalworker so close to me. Are you willing to modify pre-existing work? I've got a rear bumper with swingout that I want to tweak and add a couple things to.

    Spent the afternoon mocking up a new Y-pipe on my truck that'll be dropped of to a TW member who's truck isn't mobile at the moment. This is the most economical version, aluminized steel, mig welded, it can also be done in mandrel bent stainless and tig welded.

    The buyer opted to reroute the passenger to gain ground clearance ( it can be raised even higher but he wanted to keep it as far off the t-case as possible. It currently sits 2.5-3" higher than factory. 1.5" higher the transmission crossmember, and .75 inches higher than the lowest point of the t-case. All piping has been stepped up one size to accept for extra bends. Y-pipe has been removed to finish weld, add a heat shield at the t-case, and paint with hi temp paint.

    level it flush with the bottom of the transmission crossmember to give you a idea how much it was brought up

    Yeah. It bolts up 100% in the stock location. Took me about 15 minutes to remove and replace with my stock y-pipe.
