That’d be cool if these hoops can be made for SOA applications. I recall Pelfrey used to make hoops as well for rear shock relocations

They are even easier to set up for soa because it has so much less up travel.

Most places don't make a kit because they need to be setup specific to each truck. They can be built to allow it to work with most suspensions, but the user would need to have a good amount of knowledge when it comes to setting it up. If they don't then the burden falls on the manufacturer to field calls and walk the customer thru the install. That takes time away from the builds the shop is being paid to do installs on. It really ends up being more of a headache then it's worth to sell a few universal kits.

Totally understand. When the time comes, would definitely like to ask if you could make me a set of shock relocation hoops. I would be able to do setup and install.

It is my understanding that the rear hoops are universal across both 5 and 6? I need it for the 5 lug, but would love to hire you if you are up for the project.

    Sounds good Jim. Lmk

I'll be building a set for a customers build I can try to build a second set of time allows.

The hoops would be the same. Fit would depend on if the 5lug axle is the same width as the 6 lug axle, but if it is, I can install hoops for you

okay, can you PM me what kind of price we're talking? I would have to drive to Socal to have the work done... unless you would be willing to just sell me the hoops and I could have my guy do the install with any noted specs/differences we would need to account for

If you already have an installer I'd recommend having him build the hoops. If he's capable of installation he should be more than capable of building you a set of hoops. At this time I have no plans to ship hoops with the exception or @SonnyBones and that's only cause I told him I would a long time ago. I just don't have the time to walk installers thru what should be a simple install. Sorry but I barely have enough time to fit my own installs in, let alone teach someone else how to cycle suspensions and set up hoops.

I totally understand - would you be willing to possibly provide the specs for the hardware? My guy is fully capable and builds everything from custom drag cars (10 second muscle cars) to huge mega swampers...

just want to follow the total chaos specs as closely as possible. I actually have everything I need for the front end build, just not the rear

Their really is no specs. TC specs a 10" hoop for their rear kit. I build and set up all my hoops to each trucks individual setup and everything is cycled to insure it's properly setup to that truck.

Hardware specs will depend on material thickness, shock rod end width, and any other variable in the shock mount design. It's just 4 bolts. I generally don't spec them till I'm building the hoops. Otherwise they are just grade 8 1/2" bolts with a shank the proper length for the upper and lower shock mounts.
