Bravo for complete transparency. I can totally see where that went sideways. Good luck.

Thanks for understanding! Really would of liked to have received the product and hate leave a bad review. But blind siding someone saying fine here’s a refund and giving the product to someone else further down the order que when you begged and waited for weeks to get it, is poor customer service and lack of care for the people that pay you.

Wow. Sorry I bugged you with questions about your inspirational builds. Didn’t know your patience was thin and couldn’t handle questions.

I don’t mind waiting as long as I have a known expectation. If I was told “hey man it’ll be 21 weeks” I’d be fine with it.

I was given the refund although I wanted the product and simple asked for a completion date so I’d have clear expectations.

Hey guys sorry for the delay. Things have been crazy lately. Let me first start off by saying I think all the parts of are convo are posted here, I haven’t read them and really don’t care to.

Let me first start by saying that this issue was settled with Kyle when I sent him his refund, I don’t owe him anything and have defrauded him of nothing. The one thing I will admit to is taking longer than initially expected to build the hoops. Most of that can be contributed to them being the first set of production hoops I’ve done for a long bed. In the end, the extra time spent made for far better installers kits being delivered to my customers, I had little confidence in Kyle’s installer, as you’ll probably see in our pm’s so I spent much more time figuring out how I could prefab more of the builders kit requiring less thinking on his installers part, and lower installer labor costs. In his later messages after I refunded him he asked for a list of materials needed so he could tell his fabricator what to use, I would of given it to him , but he kept replying before I got a chance to reply back. Any builder worth his salt could easily figure out what was needed just from looking at my pics alone.

Kyle says he never received any updates, but you will see every time he asked for an update he got one. In the end he was messaging me multiple times without allowing me to answer back, giving me ultimatums. He was obviously very bothered so I made the decision to refund him his money as it had now become a nuisance. When Pm’ing me give me a little time to reply. I also have a life, a job, and a family. I do my best to juggle all three, plus your guys builds. At the end of the day I perform labor on peoples vehicles, it’s a labor of love. Labor is the exchange of time for currency, time that that currency can not buy back. Kyle made it apparent to me that his cause was not worth my time. I’ll stand behind the decision I made everyday of the week. I can 100% understand how some people will take offense to that and I can respect that. In fact I hope they keep this review up it’s Kyle’s opinion and he should be allowed to voice it. With that said I am currently on schedule with everyone’s builds and parts (all 3 of them), but if any of you guys see this review and would like a refund I will have no issues or hard feelings.

I think my reputation on here speaks for itself over the last 3 or so years I have worked on 100’s of your guys builds, may I have been short with my answers a few times, or not in the best mood to conversate, sure we’re all human. I work 50+ hours a week at my day job and the TW stuff is just supposed to be for fun. It’s not always fun but I’ve made the best of it. The one thing I can say is everyone who has been thru the shop has gotten exactly what they paid for, a consistent and professional product, that’s rivals any other standard automotive fabrication shop, and most importantly they have revieved 100% of my effort. I never phoned it in once. I thank you guys for the nice things you’ve said about me and coming to my defense but it’s not necessary. I will continue to fit in the builds I can and build a product I stand behind.

This is all I have to say on this. Kyle can go on if he wants. I think all the info
Is here and I’ve already moved on to the next customer install. Thanks again

This is the last thing I’m commenting on, Jim Bob has given a lot of time to our community and spends a good portion of his free time answering questions and giving people tips. He gives a lot to our community. If you think he has no patience you haven’t read the silly questions he answers on social media everyday, and if you have seen them and still think he doesn’t have patience then your probably one of the ones asking those silly questions.

I appreciate @inv3ctiv3 chiming in here, but wish he hadn’t as I wouldn’t want to cast a negative shadow over such a positive person in our community.

If this was the first set then all I ask was that you communicate that. “Hey man, this is my first time doing a LB shock hoop, it’ll take longer to make.”

In regards to my installer, I repeatedly told you he was capable.

Your updates came weeks later and I was simple asking for you to set clear expectations. You never told me from the beginning hey man “I work 3 jobs. This is a side thing and it’ll take me x amount of time. Just tell me, “it’ll be 21 weeks or 6 month” and I’d be fine waiting.

I didn’t give you an ultimatum. I said I’d like a completion date or refund.

When you refund and sent me a completed photo I asked for you to keep the money because I’d like a finished product. Instead you responded immediately with “I fulfilled someone else’s order early.” That’s fucked up.

So very true. If you look at his Instagram posts and how many questions he gets, you’ll understand. A lot can be answered by his build thread as well which people don’t look at...

    Way to keep it professional.

While I’m sure I don’t need to post this... here’s some food for thought for anyone reading this who has NOT had work done by Jason: Ask any one of the hundreds of satisfied (beyond satisfied in my case) customers he has had in the last several years what working with Jason was like. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I was astounded with his work ethic, communication, willingness to work around my build and my logistical issues and overall final product.

This warrants the fame of an Amazon 1 star review:

“Ordered my custom hoops and paid in full. I got impatient and threatened to file a claim. Seller called my bluff and refunded my money. Told him to keep the money and I wanted hoops. Got my money back. Seller wouldn’t give me blue prints to have my ‘capable’ installer copy his design. Would not buy again.”

This sounds like an ultimatum to me.

I personally haven't had any work done by @glorifiedwelder yet, but when my rear shocks come in, I definitely do have him in mind to do my shock relocate

I Lol'd. Some of the complaints/reviews we get at work are ridiculous. A lot of the times its so much easier just to send a refund and move on. Even if there is some money/time lost. I think Jason made the right move on this one
