I have OEM LED taillights and my brake lights are the LEDS.

Right, that's what I'm saying though, those Philips are LEDs. I was wondering what bulb number would work to serve as a replacement for the brake light

I'm saying the brake light is part of a multi LED array at the center of my OEM LED taillight. It's not a single replaceable bulb. I think the other two bulbs are a blinker lamp and a backup lamp.

    WOWOW yeah, I'm an idiot....

So I bought each light separately...First guy sent me an extra harness that has nothing in the middle socket (blinker and reverse on the top and bottom). So I twisted out each socket that are installed already, but only a tiny bit and didn't see bulbs or the wires sticking out of the socket so I assumed they were missing like on the harness. The empty socket on the extra harness threw me off! Just took the socket all the way out, and yes, you are exactly right....

Thank you--Saved me $20 and even more embarrassment

Why don't you leave the title as is and as descriptive as possible so others can search and find answers also. If everyone did what you did we would never have an archive of questions and answers.

That's a really good point...meant to try to cut down on clutter, but you're absolutely right
