Yeah me either. Did all 7 of my EJSs in different vehicles. Finn's to me is by FAR the most fun you can have out there on a trail.

I'll be investing in a decent lift and some 285/75/17 BFG mud TS so I can get back to the Arches area soon.

The blackstone is 22” flattop and it can cook a ton. I do run 265/75r16 Nittos. I don’t know how tall that makes em. Got sliders, winch, rear locker, a compressor, recovery gear and a cooler of ice cold beer. 2” lift with Fox 2.5’s. I do have stock skids. Going to hopefully change that soon.56D25884-3754-4B27-8E80-7005E9417759.jpg

We'll be leaving out of Denver Saturday morning March 25th. Don't want you to show up a day late lol.

We'll have more details on meeting locations and times as this moves along.

    That is good to know.
Thanks for the heads up. That was my mistake. It’s easy to lose some days in Denver.

I’m definitely interested. And I’m also from Wisconsin. Small world I guess!

Where are you at in WI? I'm in Sheboygan.

Let us know if you plan on joining the trip.

I have four, 64 quart coolers and a couple of 48 quart coolers I'll need one for my beer, soda, etc.

Will you need the coolers before we leave? Or fill 'em when you get to camp?

Camp. We need to get a number of who is coming... maybe in a month or so and then I will ask for cooler help. I can probably find what I need here, so maybe just worry about beer etc. and if we need room I will ask.

I have a 65 quart cooler I was going to bring. I also have a 45 but didn't plan on bringing it. Trying to pack light. I loose height fast in the rear with the light leaf springs.

So... Group. I need to make something clear, as my stress level is starting to peak some. I originally was planning a trip to Moab by myself (well, actually two years ago it was to be my daughter and I, but Covid.) I made my plans known this summer to my Wisco brethren and we made a tentative plan. Now it seems real, but much larger than the 4 of us (or just me), which is fantastic; however, I am feeling the need to make it clear that when it comes to cooking I am only planning to cook for the original four of us. Not the collective. We can share and help out, but make sure you can fend in the wild for yourselves. I am in no way set up to feed 6+ at a sitting nor have the interest. Campsites, trails, water, repairs etc. let's share and make plans, but be prepared to feed yourself.

I had plans to to meet Supr4Lo in Moab next Sept. When pearing mentioned that he was going over spring break, I jumped at that opportunity, too. My daughter decided to get married in Salt Lake City in May. So I bailed on the March trip. Supr4Lo had to then bail on the Sept trip and rescheduled to the March trip, and I followed suit.

I’m from West Bend so not too far from you. It’d be awesome to cruise out there together. Always less boring when you’re riding out somewhere with others.

My plan as of now is to leave home early afternoon on March 23rd. Drive to Des Moines IA and camp. The morning of the 24th @pearing is going to meet with me at the campsite, then we roll out to Denver.

Pat, I was thinking if you wanted to get an early start morning of the 24th from where you're staying I can have breakfast ready for when you get by my campsite.
