It’s not portable. They make portable lifts though. They’re expensive.

possible 2 feet of snow forecasted north in the Dakotas and MN this weekend, ... only going to see a bunch of rain tomorrow with possible flurries here

    Dangerous Winter Storm this Weekend

12/27/2019 | From KSFY Television Meteorologist Shawn Cable

A powerful, long lasting winter storm system will impact our entire region this weekend. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for most of South Dakota and large portions of Minnesota, Nebraska and North Dakota from tonight through Sunday night. Rain, freezing rain, sleet, snow and blowing snow are all likely this weekend and will make travel difficult if not impossible at times.

Areas of snow, sleet and freezing rain will develop across central Nebraska and move northeast into South Dakota by early this evening. In Sioux Falls, light snow will develop by early to mid evening and continue through tonight. Sleet and freezing drizzle will likely mix with the snow at times late tonight into tomorrow morning. 1 to 3 inches of accumulation will be possible by daybreak tomorrow.

Rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow are likely throughout the day tomorrow. An additional inch of snow accumulation will be possible with over a quarter inch of liquid precipitation possible. Freezing rain and snow will continue through Saturday night changing to all snow by Sunday. Several inches of additional snow accumulation will be possible late Saturday night, Sunday into Monday. On Sunday the wind will increase and that will create areas of blowing snow that will last through Sunday night and into Monday.

As of now, it appears that the heaviest snow will fall north and west of Sioux Falls. 6 to 12 inches or more will be possible across much of central and northeastern South Dakota. Wind gusts from 30 to 50 mph will create blowing snow/blizzard conditions from Saturday night through Sunday into Monday

This is a dangerous winter storm system that will have a significant impact on travel throughout the entire weekend. We will have updates as this storm continues to develop.

Harbor freight is your friend. Get one of those nice jacks. Some stands. And a creeper.

    Boom done.
