hey yall, im thinking about getting a 08 v6 4x4 crewcab. right now im driving a 97 nissan pathfinder 4x4.

all i have read about tacomas has been good.

so i wanna hear if yall have found anything bad about them.

i tend to be kinda hard on vehicles ive had to replace the entire frontend in the finder and replace the engine due to slamming the oilpan onto a rock and running the engine dry. didnt realize it till it was too late.

so how tough are these trucks?

my finder, ill miss her but i need something more reliable going to college

forgot to add im a volunteer firefighter so the truck will still need to be able to handle some abuse. and have some spots for some strobes.

No issues with my '05 Taco. I love it. I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

A lot of the people on this forum have had more than one Tacoma or Toyota truck. There's a reason why we all love these trucks so much.

Now if you do this to any truck i dont expect it to last just do typical maintenance and your good and try not to slam it on a rock lol

Great idea for a truck. These things are really nice rigs. You can't go wrong with a yota.

My 05 v6 DC Pre-Runner just hit 101,000 miles & still going strong. No problems at all. Still has the power it had when it was new.
