Well the vibration is getting REALLY bad after 60. Loud and almost undrivable. I called the dealer and said it's not fixed. He asked if I want an appointment. I said only if you give me a free loaner. He said only if he had it for more than 2 days. I said you had it for 2 days and said it was done. I said if I knew it wasn't finished, I would have made you keep it. He said he couldn't help. I told him nicely that I was going to call Toyota corporation and let them know what is going on. So I did. The Customer Relations Manager from the dealership called today and said that a corporate tech specialist comes once per month and got me an appointment for that day with a free loaner.
See what happens when you don't take no...
I hope to get to the bottom of this.

Well my2011 Taco has just turned 3k miles, it's been back for the vibration 2 times the last time the sales mgr drove it with me in it and it vibrating. Needless to say he tryed to convince me that it wasn't there..BS.. The 'HEAD" MECHANIC?? told me they all do it. Well i got a little upset and said i didn't want it, well then they got a little upset..Who would figure?? I drove 2 2012's the 1st was just like mine the 2nd scared the crap out of me it was so bad and i let them know it. Well now i am apparently on there look out for this guy list and they take off when i pull in. The manual tells you what to do about the Lemon Law and i have a feeling that will be my next step. I have a 97 Taco with 173k on it and it's a rebuilt wreck and it rides better!!! Just had to air my thoughts on this since i am just finding out i'm not the only one with these issues....Oh they did balance the tires last time and found no problem. And does anybody have a solution for the left side of truck sitting so much lower than the right? And it doesn't matter if it has a full tank or a quarter tank it looks bad.

I had to call Toyota. Toyota called the customer relations manager at the dealer. I would contact one of those two right away. Mine has zero vibration now.

I've got a killer revolving vibration too. Noticed it at 2200 miles and now at 15000 miles, its pretty intense. They removed the driveshaft and it drove great in 4 wheel hi. Added a couple shims to the center bearing and the tech said it was a little better. saw a little wear and tear on the u joints so they swapped out the drive shaft with another Taco and it was still there, (they say). Trucks in the shop now. I think a good 1/2" spacer in between the center bearing is gonna give me some hope tomorrow. Ofcourse the dealer acts like they've never seen the issue.
