Military Heroes Campaign

Good morning everybody! If you could please take a minute or two to read this post it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to present to you the 16th Annual Bike To The Coast Fundraiser.

The Kappa Sigma Military Heroes Campaign supports care for military veterans, as well as, their families. It raises funds through donations from various fundraising events. One particular event, Bike to the Coast, involves volunteer student riders from the Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi areas. These cyclists ride from Los Fresnos, Texas to Port Isabel, Texas. Bike to the Coast has a long standing tradition for our organization, and with your help we plan to have an even stronger 16th Annual event. The Kappa Sigma Military Heroes Campaign receives donations through various philanthropic events held by The Kappa Sigma Fraternity Undergraduate Chapters, such as ourselves, because of Sponsors like you, the campaign has successfully raised $1,000,000 since its inception, across North America.

The Kappa Sigma Military Heroes Campaign provides care for the servicemen and women by partnering with reputable organizations that represent wounded veterans across the United States. It actively supports, “one good turn deserves another,” as the military veterans are wounded in the mission of protecting the community and country at large. This is our opportunity to give back to those that so selflessly have given for us in countries far away.

The Kappa Sigma Military Heroes Campaign purposes to identify effective ways of helping servicemen and women. The campaign tries different innovative methods that are incorporated into the annual biking events to generate more funds. For example, the campaign frequently changes the prices for the tickets according to deadline closure. It also tries to accommodate everyone during the prices. It sets different rates for different people starting from large business who believe in our cause, to individuals who just want to give back.

Volunteers operate the Kappa Sigma Military Heroes Campaign, and therefore Kappa Sigma Fraternity manages the overall operations to ensure that 100% of the donations reach its partners and veterans. The contributions are not used for administrative or other costs.

The tiers to Donate are $250 to have your business or name appear on the back of the shirt, and $100 to appear on our banner. There are always donors who give extra to have their company logo appear larger and towards the top, besides them, logos will be placed on a first to donate first to placed starting from the top. The same goes for the banner, starting from the center and working their way out. Your logo will be on there with a full color print, not black and white.

If and when you choose to donate to our cause you will be provided with a letter that has all of our information so that you can deduct it from your taxes.
