Missing Stereo, any idea what model /brand was installed based on the connectors??

    Hi,

    I bought an used Tacoma 2018, but it didn't come with the multimedia receiver.
    Any idea about the system that it used to have based on the connectors? Pictures attached.

    Those connectors look stock, but with tees for an anytime back up camera

    From what I can see you have a hookup for an antenna plus the GPS antenna so your truck will accept a 510103 navigation radio.

    I was able to buy an used system (Toyota 86140-04230), but the connectors do not fit at all. This display system is intended to be used on a toyota 2020-2022

    Someone somewhere sells an adapter kit. Unsure where. You can also drop an android HU in easy. Dasaita, siecine etc

    Nope won’t fit, they changed the wiring starting with the 2020 models. I think somebody here did an adapter or repinned the wiring from the original wiring harness to the new one. Lot of work, if you got it from a wrecking yard take it back and get one from a 2018 -2019

    You may be able to go to dealer with the VIN number and possibly get a option list with what it was originally built with. Chevy has a RPO code list in glove box that can be decifered.
