I think his Giant kit uses 64" leafs not 62" like the 50T pack. Unless he has the 62" kit.

Yeah, they're the 64" leafs. I'm considering pulling them from the truck and having a local shop give them a little more load capacity rather than deal with cross-country shipping and all that, but that's several months off.

It's not quite as easy with a spring-under setup, but I'll probably replace a few leafs with stiffer ones to things out.

Deaver sent me two leaves to add to my DMZ pack. They designed the two leafs off the computer files of the first pack. They had the same arch and everything. Might be worth looking into.

The issue is that Deaver can't identify what pack I have. When I needed to replace leafs last time they sent me parts but not everything lined up. The leafs they sent matched up like this:

    From the bottom:
    Their leaf 1 = my leaf 1
Their leaf 2 = my nothing
    Their leaf 3 = my leaf 2

Also, my leaf 3 has the clamps that align the pack and they had nothing in their system that matched that for the 64" pack. Freaking weird.

I had them custom made a 3rd leaf based on measurements I pulled from the good pack on the other side of the truck.

It's never easy being an early adopter of this stuff.

That's really sweet! To run those I'd have to upgrade to heims on the steering linkage to work with the double-sheer setup. Far stronger than the stock rod ends.

So far I've been fortunate enough to not break a tie rod end. Still, I always keep a spare in the truck for a quick repair if needed.

The latest version of the TC spindle gussets look similar and have a piece that reinforces the steering arm on the spindle. As a short-term, cost effective option I'm going to get those for my spare spindles and see how everything looks.

I was looking through your build, but i couldnt find it, what are you using for your cv boots. Ive seen you have gone through a couple boots, but just stock hardware and replacement boots?

Stock boots have held up for me, although I've broken and rebuilt stuff frequently enough where the boots haven't had a chance to wear out.

How many miles do you typically get on a set, what lift are you running, what kind of wheeling do you typically do, and is it typically your inner or outer boots that tear?

I havent messed up a pair yet, I just picked up a used total chaos kit and I was starting to piece together the rest of the crap with the axles I need. Thanks I just needed to know if there was a better option I needed to use instead of stock components.
