martie only wears the pants because mike refuses to wear pants

have you tried the "blatantly honest" approach yet?

    he said a "friend"

I'm glad we got that cleared up.

I booked my room in Primm at Buffalo Bill's for September 8th through the 13th. Total cost: $175 through Expedia.

That's the cheapest part of this experience so far! :)

I bought it on special for $badass.99
    How sketchy was it?
I'll know more after this weekend. I just got the rollcage padding, wide-angle rearview mirror, the last components I needed to complete the wiring, my new tires, and some random items I need for the trailer.

Assembling the front axles is keeping me from getting the truck off the jackstands. After that I'll need the new shocks to arrive before finishing up! :)

Not yet. He's got the new place and has been moving down unused tools and equipment but won't completely get out of the current facility until he finds someone to take over the lease. :)

It was a productive Saturday. I wired up a new fuse block under the hood that's powered through a relay linked to the ignition. Through that I wired the rear dust light and Lowrance GPS. I picked a location for the PCI Race Radios RaceAir system and ran wires so it'll plug right in once I build a bracket for it.

While I was up to all that, Martie cut and installed padding on the rollcage where needed according to SCORE rules. She also gave me a hand setting up an AllView mirror on the cage. This thing is awesome and I'm definitely getting one for my tow vehicle.

I installed the UCAs on both sides of the truck and test fit the LCA and coilover with a spare spindle on the passenger side. The travel is far more than I was expecting.

The droop will be lessened once I have the front axles in place and can set the limit straps to avoid CV binding but it'll be pretty close. Everything in the above picture will be disassembled and reassembled which is why nothing in that shot is tightened.

It's getting closer every day! :)
