    so, i got the plastic welder today, played a bit then jumped in.
    I already had the prep work done, so it was down to welding.
    heres one with a fresh weld, yeah they are ugly I had to cut strips from the center section to use as welding rod. :D
    Then I grinded off the lumps and started sanding....

    I'll finish in the next day or two, one weld partially came loose and I suspect another might (probly didnt melt it enough)but the backside has good supports welded in and the fillers wont break out.

    After I'm done sanding there may not be any filler or paint required. I hope :rolleyes:

    and NO THOSE ARE NOT MY PINK SHOES!!!!! LOL

    looks good.i wonder how long the welds will hold up?i did that 10 years ago on some bushwacker flares and didnt even last 3 months.
