High clearance is in the design stages. We hope to have first run parts ready to be run in a week or so.

Unfortunately no. There is just no good way to do it. I'm not aware of any plate bumper on the market that does work with the factory hitch. Reason is the factory hitch utilizes the same mount points that the bumper must use to be strong. Plus, keeping the factory hitch hinders departure angle. I understand that's not a concern to most people and they're buying it more for looks over function. I will tell you this, our integrated bumper is designed smarter and stronger than the hitch that comes on the truck. It uses the same hitch steel as far as tubing goes, but we improved the plate design that bolts to the truck and reinforced the weak areas of the factory hitch. Now, it won't be tow rated because to do this through the NHSTA and be DOT legal it cost a lot of money, a lot and we just don't have the capital to do it.

We're cutting up one of the shop trucks, it's my business partners @jowybyo. Then we are cutting up Chip's truck @SquirrelyPatriot. We can cut yours too if you end up buying one.

I love cutting up perfectly good trucks. I know how to make any vehicle a convertible in 15 minutes or less. That's my next business venture once @Mobtown Offroad fires me. @fatfurious2 do you want a convertible while we are at it?

Nice. We could go full '80s white thrash with T-Tops. When do we start?

Speaking of which, I wanted a '98 Trans Am WS6 with t-tops so bad when I turned 16.

I don't know if this helps at all. But I have a plate bumper with an integrated hitch from another manufacturer (BruteForce).

Just this weekend I towed my 2000 lb trailer with 2 yards of crushed stone in it. That's right around 7000 lbs...

So, this integrated hitch idea is definitely capable of towing more than our trucks are rated for.

I haven't seen Joe's bumper or how the hitch is built, but the way they build things, I'm sure there's nothing to worry about
