@TRDProBuddy I thought I'd answer your questions since @Mobtown Offroad is currently at Expo West and pretty busy. Plus we can get out of Pelfrey's thread to keep it clutter free.

    1. The stock bumper/hitch is pretty heavy. The two combined is around 70-80 lbs, and the standard rear bumper is 120 lbs, so you're looking at a ~45lb increase. You won't even notice the difference in weight.
    2. The hitch is located behind the license plate, and all bumpers are shipped with a flip-up license plate bracket. The trailer plug gets relocated to it's now parallel to the ground. You can see it in the background of this pic, although a little blurry.
    3. The factory tow plug just bolts right in.
    4. The cutouts are designed for the Baja Designs S2 Pro Flush Mount. Not sure if there's a difference between the pro version and non pro version

Thank you @EatSleepTacos for that. That is pretty heavy compared to the Pelfreybilt one as it weighs only ~85lbs. I will need to think on that

Wow really? That's light! In the grand scheme of things though, 35 lbs is a negligible difference when thinking about what the rear suspension is capable of holding. Good luck in your decision.

Also here's a comparison of the backside on why the weight difference. Mobtown are pure beef. Not knocking pelfrey's product in any way as they make a great product, but just merely pointing out the differences.

Am not disagreeing that it is a very nice and well built. And I am considering it, but yes it is only 45 lbs more, but I drive 100 miles round trip so an additional 45 lbs is something to think about. I really appreciate all the info

Thanks for jumping on this Randy. The standard bumper is only about 100 lbs. So it's only about a 15 lbs difference over the Pelfreybilt. Our high clearance is about 130 lbs.

    Estimate said $838

I’m thinking rear bumper, powdercoated with light cutouts.
