Yeah but anything has to be better than if not as good as the factory end caps. Knocked the shit out of my trailer hitch on rocks this last weekend. Front skid took em like it was a baby punch.

Tryin to convince myself that 14 hour drive is no big deal....

It's not! I drive to my Dad's 2-3 times a year. Maryland to North Port, FL is only 18 hours one way and I do it straight thru each time. I drink coffee and Monster so I don't fall asleep. Plus after 6-8 drinks, the dragon riding shotgun helps me stay awake.

Maybe even install the sliders. Thanksgiving wouldn't be cool though

Hold up. Let me see if I can get this to work first. If it isn't too much a PITA for you of course. Let me know the cost and when you'd need it.

Yeah you have like 5 ways to contact me. Whatever is easiest for you

Been trying to figure this out. It doesn't look like I'm able to do this anytime soon. Too much shit planned between now and the end of January. Got a big trip planned and the wife will hatchet me if I spend too much before then too. I hope someone steps up and helps Mobtown get this done.

I'd happily donate my truck, and pick up my sliders and skids at the same time, but I don't have the tech package. Now how sad is that :annoyed:

BTW will there be an option for just the tire carrier with out the jerry cans? If so will the tire be more centered, and do you have a back up camera relocation plan? One more thing because I'm a PITA, what's the latch mechanism on the tire carrier. It'd drive me nutty if it rattled like a snare drum

We offer it now without Jerry cans. The tire will stay to the passenger side for weight/moment arm reasons. Closer to the pinion, less stress on the bearings and welds. The latch mechanism is on the driver side under the swingout. It's a HUGE wing nut that threads over a stud in the bumper to lock it in place right to the bumper. No movement or rattling whatsoever. As for the camera relocation, I'm still toying around with ideas. Kind of sucks how Toyota wires the camera in the tailgate. Smart for their sub-assemblies on Production lines, not so much for us haha

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply Joe. I'm gonna hold out a bit and see what the front looks like finished. The prototype is looking promising. If the front will carry both a winch and a light bar I'm thinking package deal. I'd likely plan to road trip, and just pick me up and get them installed all in one fail swoop.

BTW if you haven't shipped my skids and sliders yet we should talk before you do. I just had a small mis communication with a different vendor regarding a bed rack. Apparently everyone doesn't know that nantucket is an island, and for me to come to the mainland to pick something up is 300.0 bill and a day off of work. I think we should discuss options to make it less painful on both of us. I'll PM you my work and cell number in case you don't have it

    I got your PM, replied.

I do know you're on an island which is one of the reasons the shipping was higher than usual.

But get back to me on the PM.

The front bumper is winch capable.
