I do. I am thinking I might do another one and try to be more technical with better pics.

I'm still waiting on my sliders from the Black Friday sale. Any update?

Ben Foltz? If so, they're at powder coat. I should have them back by the end of this week, early next week and will be ready to be picked up the day I get them. We are sorry for the delay, we had major issues with a powder coat vendor and had to scramble to get a new one that we knew was going to do it right.

I got my sliders installed over the weekend and they look great. I didn't have the two bolts to replace the ones I took out in the first step. I just put the old ones back in for now and they seem to work but I figured I would go ahead and get some new ones. I'm assuming they should be just a little longer? Could you let me know exactly what size they are and the length. If they was standard I could figure it out but I don't know much about metric sizes. Thanks

Sliders should have come with those bolts but I think the last batch I shipped out was missing those bolts. Had a lot of people tell me they didn't get it. The bolt is a M10 x 1.25, 30 mm long. Send me your 4 digit order number and I will mail out the two bolts.

Yes that's me. Thanks! I'd like to drive down and check out your shop and other offerings and maybe just have you slap them on while I'm there. I'll lookout for a message from you whenever they're ready. No hurry.

Hey Joe - I wanted to bring the issue of skid plate compatibility in from the other thread where it's being discussed:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/no-drill-rock-slider-options.22915/page-3#post-11884473

You had confirmed in that thread that your bolt-on sliders will work with RCI skids. Do you have any pics of the RCI skids installed with your sliders? I just checked their website, and I think I might just be able to use their cross member in place of the BudBuilt unit. I would just have to drill mounting holes in the RCI cross member to match up with the BB transfer case skid plate - at least it looks like it would work.

    Here's RCI's cross member. It's available separately for $150.

Ben, I would be more than happy to help install them. It is a lot easier with two sets of hands.

We have confirmed that our sliders do work with RCI skid plate. No pictures yet, just verified with tons of measurements. I have a set of sliders going to a customer next week that has their skids and I am sure he will add pics for all to see.

I have RCI skids and bolt-on Mobtown sliders. They definitely fit on a 2012 manual Access Cab.

Mind throwing up some pictures of this setup so everyone can see how they fit together?

    From center to left.

    From outside left.

Honestly, not much to show. There's a good inch, inch-and-a-half clearance between the slider box and the transfer case skid.

Thanks for this! I think this will be my solution. Can you tell me how the RCI cross-member attaches to the frame? Is it just held there by the plate or does it clamp or bolt on somehow not shown in the pics? The BubBuild cross-member is similar - other than being tubular - and has pinch clamps to keep it from moving/rattling.

I'm starting to think that I might just be able to flip the BudBuild cross-member around to move the contact area forward. This might make the use of the clamp impossible though.

RCI takes a better approach in installation IMO. They attach to the boxed in portion on the chassis, further ahead than the ones shown above.
