Have had this installed for about 2 weeks, but wanted to wax the truck before posted. Figured you guys might like the see a few pics of it. This is the 3rd purchase ive made from mobtown for my taco and they keep exceeding what I think quality is. This bumper was packed better than any other bumper or skid plate i've ordered...for this truck or any of my jeeps. Usually I get a UPS guy with a cellophane wrapped piece of steel or just a taped on label. This one came in a crate that I later was able to use to finish my shed :p. The hinge uses 2 bearings with grease fittings. I had to open and close the bumper about 20 times before it got lubricated well enough, but once I did that It opens with about as much force as I use on my front house door. I needed 2 people plus myself to install, 2 to hold the bumper and one to run the bolts in quick. It used the old bumpers hardware, I tried to find grade 10.9 bolts to replace with, but finding a M12x1.25 bolt in that grade proved to be impossible. My favorite part is the hitch is hidden behind the license plate allowing a greater departure angle, it uses what looks like a license plate holder from the older cars that had the gas cap behind the plate. Long story short was well worth the wait on build time for the quality bumper you get.

    Looks great

    1) any idea how much rear bumper weighs
    2) how much rear swing out weigh

    3) do ou have any picture from side that shows the rear spare tire angle and how close it is to tailgate

    Gorgeous !!

I'd estimate the bumper weighs around 100-150 lbs without the swing out. Maybe 50 for the swingout. I'll check the freight slip for sure and also the mobtown guys could probably provide an exact weight. I'll get ya a picture tomorrow of the side. I'd estimate it cants rearwards maybe 2°. It doesn't sag at all when swung open either, probably not recommended but I weigh 220 and can swing in it easily.

    pics or it didn't happen!

Bumper looks super clean. Love that the swingout is round tube instead of the usual square. Makes it look that much better to me

lol awesome. I refuse to be held responsible for any failure of the hinge! That should be the covershot for the website on the bumper page if it works. lol

Bumper weighs 105 lbs, add another 60 lbs for swingout and another 25 lbs for the Jerry Can.
