Or you could come pick them up...I'm not even 40 miles from you. You want to talk about inconvenience and waste of money. That's the least you could do.

Well shoot before this thread gets locked, is it a tolerance issue causing the sliders to hit the pinch weld? Is it not intentional, was it an oversight? Do a majority of the Mobtown bolt on's not hit?

Yes most if not all will hit the pinch welds I will post picks of another truck tomorrow that has the same issue. It is also a short bed. Joe you might recognize this truck it's the only truck that you have done a gloss finish on the sliders.

If I were him, if come and pick them up. Up your expense of course. Oh and I wouldn't forget about that 25% restocking fee. What more do you want? Gotta love unreasonable customers. I understand there was an issue. He made it right by offering you a full refund. Somehow your still now happy?

I will preface this by saying I have no connection to te vendor, nor have I ever done business with them. I also understand the frustration you are feeling from receiving a defective product.

It seems that the vendor is doing what they should to make the situation right. A full refund seems like a good solution for both parties.

While it might be more convenient for you if mob town came and picked them up, that's simply not how it works. If you bought a defective product from Walmart, Lowes, or any other company, they wouldn't come pick it up either.

Get your money back and move on with a different company. I will advise you to go with a weld on version next time. My bolt on sliders that I had on my 2nd gen (from a different reputable TW vendor) ever so slightly kissed the pinch weld as well under pressure. I'm not sure there is any way to avoid this with a bolt on design. I'm Not sure.

Anyway, best of luck to you both.

Thanks. My thing is how many people out west are buying these things not realizing that they are junk.

They're far from junk. They're the most well engineered, well built bolt on sliders on the market. Your opinion is biased. We've sold over 150 sets and have had people bash the crap out of them. I've beat the crap out of mine and they do their job.

All bolt on sliders flex a little. Ours flexes the least out of almost every design on the market.

The offer is return them for a full refund.

If I have to come get them I'll refund 75% of your order.

There is nothing wrong with them. They're installed and at this point used and I'm still willing to do a full refund. I'm being more than fair.

No need to keep dragging this out. Let me know what you want and I'll handle it.

Apparently it's been festering along with the skid plates, which he never gave a reason for.
