I got to meet @Aussiek2000 when he picked up his sliders. Seemed like a good dude to me. #InternetDrama

internet keyboard warriors just make me giggle. I get the same shit on my racing pages. I was pitted next to a group of my haters at the last race. amazing they had nothing to say with no keyboard to protect them.

Wow, so this thread kind of devolved.. sorry about that.

I got my sliders installed this weekend. I did end up having to cut about 1/4" from both driver and passenger side, but it was easy to do with a sawzall - less than 5 minutes per cut. No big deal.

I'm happy with how they turned out. Feels rock solid. Had to adjust a couple things, but nothing major.

    My .02 on the instructions:
    - a couple of the images were kind of dark, lighter may have been easier to see
    - I would have preferred separate instructions for each side. Most of the steps are the same or similar enough, but there were a few differences that I had to think about before proceeding.
    - Some sort of exploding diagram thing that shows exactly which parts go where would have been awesome.

But all in all, I got it done so Yay!

Can I use the Bitch and Moan coupon and get a free set of sliders to go with the jack?

    I Keed! I Keed!

Honestly though, with customer service like you've displayed in this thread, people would be nuts to not consider your wares.

Vendor support like that is getting rare nowadays.

I have one set of bolt on rock sliders that were ran to the wrong angle by mistake. They are for a 2016+ DCLB with kick out built to zero degrees (flat). They will not work with our fill plates because we change the dimensions when built to zero degrees (flat) so they don't stick way off the truck.

    They are normally:
    Price for raw steel: $749
    Price for powder coated: $899

They are not a popular configuration and instead of them sitting around the shop forever we are going to offer them up discounted. If you want them raw steel, they will ship this week. If you want them powder coated, they will ship in two weeks.

Price for raw steel: $599 ($150 savings)
Price for powder coated: $749 ($150 savings)

If you want them, reply here or private message me. I will have to send you an invoice to pay to. Shipping rates can be calculated on our website athttp://mobtownoffroad.com/product/no-drill-bolt-on-rock-sliders-2/

Same install for the third gen folks. There are a couple electrical boxes on third gens that aren't on second but we captured that in our installation instructions.

That will be great. I don't think there is much difference in the instructions between the 2nd and 3rd gen.

Wait, so let me get this straight, after 8 pages.

Guy buys sliders, modifies them to fit, has a little bit spray painted and is concerned about a 'weak point' in the powder coat.
Guy then gets upset how close it gets to pinch weld? Yet throws 'Stick to your fire roads' if you want Mobtown Products?
Does he not realize using sliders as intended will scratch off his pretty powder coat, creating more 'weak points'? Does he realize his pretty much contradicted himself?

    Guy is full of himself.

Props to Mobtown for the excellent display of Customer Service.
