OP, Would you please post a profile shot of your setup? Before I order the mount I want to see if it's too close to the wheel. If so, I could get the double articulated bracket. Thanks in advance. Great post!!

It's difficult to get the depth, but there is about 4 inches from the arm of the mount to the steering wheel. Plenty of room for gloves on cold mornings.

Thanks. I purchased this Arm and it didn't work for my application but I'm glad it's working or you.

    Back grab bar update:
Got the size 11mm hole RAM mount ball to try in the back.
Will only really work with the grab bar removed, which is okay by me. I just made a paracord grab bar to put there instead. :D
Next I will be trying to find the right extension arm I need to make this work.
    Thinking this one:

Failed on pics but got the ball, arm & xgrip test drive done this wknd. Also have the swivel arm, gopro mount & tomtom cradle ordered to incorporate devices I already have. Nice to have actual mounts for these things when needed instead of just hittin a cupholder or cleanin suction mount rings off the windshield. Having them in your field of driving vision much better than down around the console.

Here's pic I took at lunch......like how it folds up out of way when not in use. I park in garages so not really concerned with sun melting the rubber tips on xgrip.

The dude at Fastenal just gave me one of those bolts for free.

He asked why I needed just one, I showed him, and he dug one out and said "here you go, you can have it"

The money was because the cd mailer isn't flat any more with the bolt in it. They consider it a parcel. Not thinkin the people who will be receiving them woulda just stopped by from CA, FL, MN & PA to pick them up for free, lol. No matter, I'm programmed to help and fix and MOD so it's all good. I know I act like an ass and stir the pot in some of the threads on here but it's mostly a disguise and an act or reflex to douchebaggery. I like being random and undercover about nice because it gets abused otherwise.

Got bolt today also at Fastenal $1.50. Glad I found one, Lowes, Home depot, and West Marine did not have them. Guy in Lowes told me about Fastenal.
