MOD: Double cab rear sunvisors (FJ Cruiser parts in Tacoma)

I didn't, but if you expose the bolts on the rear grab handles of a double cab the holes are the same length apart. If you have a different cab arrangement and aren't sure if your rear handle is the same let us know and I can measure it and give the accurate numbers.

 

^Would you be kind enough to measure it? I have an Access Cab. I was looking to install these on my Subaru Impreza. If the hole spacing is the same or even similar (can slot holes with a dremel), that would work.

 

Legit. Noone rides in backseat but might do anyways for baller status.

Looking at it in my dark garage I'd say the mounting holes are between 6-3/8" and 6-1/2" apart. If you need more precision I'll gladly get the tape out during the day when there is more light.

 

This is pretty neat! If I start having people back there more, I may have to do this.

 

Came across this searching something else on TW, cool mod should help keep the sun out of my daughters eyes.

This is awesome! Although with the tint and their small size, I'm curious as to how much they really help.

 

I was doubtful as well but with the additional height provided by child seats they do make a difference. My boy is six now and skinny as a rail so he still uses a booster seat - due to his weight - and he can still reach it himself with no problem.

 

I am going to measure the distance between the bolt holes on my Tacoma and see if itll work in my 3rd gen 4runner.

Right on, I've gotten most of my ideas for changes to my truck from everyone here which makes being able to offer up a new one pretty fun.

 

Was that the only color available that you fund? May have to do this. I like the idea for rear passengers.

 

I'm quite certain that this is the only color that they are offered in. At first I wanted to dye them to make them match the rest but to be honest, I've found that they disappear into the headliner quite well and so I decided to just leave them be.

 

AC doesn't have overhead grab handles for the rear seats. I was looking to fit the visors in my Subaru, but the hole spacing is too different.

 

Too wide or too narrow? Would have been cool to see you get them in it.
