    So what is the consensus can I operate the Matt gecko lights to full capacity by tapping the green wire or is it dim because not enough power?

    THIS is what I needed to know - thank you. If you want your SwitchPros trigger wire to work with your dome lights you cant actually trigger natively off your dome circuit due to dim function. Also, I learned that if you add-a-fuse off your cargo circuit in the sub panel (fuse panel in cab) it wont work either because that appears to be always hot (meaning its not switched). This little green wire however will trigger your SwitchPro perfectly to sync with Cargo lights which is essentially the same functionally as triggering off your dome circuit. So now, key fob lock, unlock or door open and SwitchPro lights up my UpTop BD rock lights. Very slick. Probably others have figured this out as well but just adding here so that it may be findable if others are looking. Thanks again.

    If you select your ShitPro gadget to use a negative trigger you can use the violet wire of the cargo switch. And @kmorgan3 has a intercept harness so you don't go cutting into the OEM wires.Plug-and-Play Switch Illumination Harnesses

    This thread was very helpful. I just tapped the green wire to trigger relay for some Baja S1 work lights on my roof rack using the cargo light rocker. Worked great! Post #8 was key.

    My cargo light connector has no power. Not even switch illumination. (I added an oem switch that connects to the connector for that switch ) that harness has no power.
    There is a 7.5 amp fuse and that has power. So now what can I do? My truck is an access cab with no cargo lamp. I guess I need a color code for the switch. Or start tapping into other cab/ door lighting wires.
    Any thoughts? Sorry for the hi jack.

    Was the light stalk at parking lights to verify switch illumination?
    Did you verify there's a fuse in the Cargo Lamp fuse location?
    Did you verify there's a relay for the Cargo Lamp?

    Yes. I temporarily used the relay right above the cargo relay position in there. Switched on the lights. Nothing.
    I tested the back of the harness. Before the relay was put in the proper place nothing.
    The fuse box has the proper 7.5 fuse in good order. To be sure. That’s the second one in closest to your knee. Not the firewall.
