So if you do this mod and include the switch, you have to wait 30 - 45 seconds for the GPS to relocate itself? Thus rendering the Navigation aspect useless during this time frame?

I have a 2015 Entune with Nav non-JBL HU and would like to do this, but not with risking my Nav being useles for a short time.

A month and a half later...still the same? I have no nav, want to be able to dial phone only...are you having any issues with this?

I had an ABS and Check Engine light that came on. Apparently, the switch got flipped on somehow and the main computer was reporting speed sensor error message. Took it to the dealer not realizing the switch was flipped on. As soon as they said leave the truck as we cannot figure out why the speed sensor is reading faulty, I took the truck home after flipping the switch off. Now, whenever i flip the switch on while moving, check engine light comes on along with the ABS again. I stopped using it.

If you're using it with gps, it looks like a bad mod because it can cause your gps to be wonky and inaccurate. If you don't have gps and just want to be able to do other things while driving, then it works great.
