Modified TRD Short Shifter for 4x4

Hey Coupe,

Was wondering why you didn't modify the height of the TRD shifter. Is already shortened? Looking to do a clutch job on my truck next month and this would make an awesome addition.

How would it work with returning my old shifter? I imagine I would just send my old one back after the new one is installed correct?

The TRD shifter is already shortened. If I find a core with the bushings intact, I leave them the stock height and I back fill the bushings with a polyurethane epoxy. If the bushings are shot, I will cut them out. When I do this, the shifter gets about 1 1/2" shorter.

You pay me for the shifter.

I send you a shifter with a new tip bushing ready to install.

You swap it out and send me your core.

No down time.

Mine is getting pretty sloppy

 

I do them as I find cores. If you have a TRD SS, I can rebuild it.

 

How much to rebuild my trd ss shifter? I have my stock one in there right now so I don't need to wait for a core.

Also, by bushing I am assuming you are talking about the piece in the middle right?
