Remind me again what kinda boots go on these? Are they the second gen racks or the 1st gens. Gotta replace boots on the rack that I tore off.

    Edit: Solved part # 90080‐11555.

Anyone happen to have the part # or the thread pitch of the bolt (circled in blue) that tightens the steering shaft to the splines on the rack? In the process of swapping in my tundra rack and mine has left the chat lol

My understanding is you lose alot of turning radius with the tundra rack .

Is this confirmed you loose a lot of turning radius with the Tundra rack/ or this rack?

It's wider from inner tie rod to inner tie rod, isn't it? It seems like it would have to have a worse turning radius as a result, unless you were somehow able to rotate the wheels more.

Second rack I’ve seen blow it’s seals.

Other than animal abuse, any idea what’s going wrong?

I would venture to guess it's people treating these almost like they have a full hydro setup. On top of that still have cooling and pump issues with the stock steering system when on very oversized tires. Would love to hear @Basikbiker thoughts on these racks blowing like this.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
I get mechanical failures specially on shit that gets beaten often. But that shouldn’t be a synonym of poor customer service.

The two that I know if both blew seals soon after install.

Now this one posted today has a very similar story.

Good to hear that y'all aren't having issues, but he seems to have a lot of quality problems that he's not resolving.
