Can anyone give an idea why I continue to get moisture on passenger side floor? It's under the Mat right beside the tranny tunnel. Is there a penetration in the floor or transmission tunnel right in that area that could be allowing water in? I.e. wire entry, rubber seal plug etc.
    Thanks

AC drain is clogged and the case is spilling condensate into the floor.

    Heater core is leaking.

A hole has rusted through the floor.

Your kid spilled his Mickey D poision juice there.

My bet it's one of those. Not all.

I would probably check your windshield seal. I was getting water pouring down after a crappy windshield install and the water was dumping down on my cabin filter and in that entire area.

Only happens when it rains and is always in a specific area. No sign of it coming from above I.e. windshield. So my guess is coming up from floor.

I managed engineers a few years. Hardest thing was to
    a) get them to produce reports I needed
    b) get said reports in salient terms of brevity, as opposed to waxing on with what if's
    c) having anything with more than 2 syllables that was not a technical term spelled correctly.

But seriously. The best engineers I ever worked with were ones who fixed their own cars, maintained their own houses and other 'practical' matters. The textbook kids struggled too much in the world we worked in. Not everyone gets to be theoretical.

It can still be the AC drain line. Cowl can leak into the evap box and if the drain is clogged have nowhere to go.

From the floor should be easy to find. Crawl under the truck and look.

Better yet, pull the carpet back and look. You probably need to get the funk that's forming under there sanitized, regardless of the source.

I had the issue during rain and car wash. Toyota changed the cowl under warranty for a new version they made which corrected the issue. Mines a 2011 also.

What drivesector said. I remember around the time I joined there were some threads or I found some threads where people were having your issue. It was getting in through a cowl over the fresh air intake for the hvac system and collecting there on passenger floor. If you do some tatgeted searching you might find those threads or posts.

Ok, pulled and snaked a/c condensate hose, no blockage. Collecting moisture rain or shine is this leading up to the heater core issue? And why in a 2011 should the core be blown? Any thoughts?
    Thanks

If it is the heater core, I expect you would smell antifreeze.
