That is just awful. The court has to be blamed for this as well. Mother was unfit to have the child. The mother needs the death sentence. This just makes me sick. God Bless your family, and I hope everything gets better for yall.

When I saw this on the news I was thinking what a crazy bitch! Knowing this side of the story is even worse especially knowing someone had already tried to help the kid.

I'm fairly new to the forum but man that is awful. My wife's aunt was trying to get custody of her grandchildren but the court gave them back to their drug addict mother. So I know where your coming form with the custody thing. So so sorry for your sister and that poor child!!!!!!

That really is horrible news. I never understood why the courts always side with the natural mother when they are a ruin of a life. They take a child who is flourishing in a family and uproot the child only to give them a a life that they never deserve. And then to find this out is disgusting.

After last nights healthcare vote and now this, I am truly disgusted in the state of my country. How do people let this shit happen and sleep at night?

I am very sorry for your losses.

As far as the 2 year old, Blame the Judges in Massachusetts. This can only happen with the Judges in Massachusetts.

Yeah, there was some kind of a mixup from what I understand. The judge assigned to the case was on vacation and another judge who was not familiar with the case made the ruling. Thanks for the kind words. Just thought I'd add this on here. My sister takes in foster kids who have been removed from bad situations. I just found out she has been given an award for being "foster parent of the year" in Massachusetts. Pretty cool if you ask me, I'm proud of my big sister!

Thanks man, this happened a few weeks ago. I was actually going to start a new thread about the award my sister won, but I think I'll just leave it here. Been a rough few weeks, but things are returning to normal.
