I have a toytec 3 inch lift with front coils. I want to lift the front another inch. What should I buy? I was told to put on some 5100s but then another person told me that shocks will not lift the truck. Someone straighten me out on this!

4x4 or prerunner? if prerunner spindles if 4x4 nothing. you should not lift the front more than 3" using coils/shocks.

Drop bracket is your only option to go higher, other than a 1" body lift.

Both Fabtech and Pro Comp make a 6 inch lift. Both are crap.

add BDS to that list......break out your wallet for that addtional inch you want....or go for 3 more while you are at it. Then you will need/want bigger tires too and possibly a re-gear too.

Keep it at 3". Trust the people on this site, many have been there and regret it, learn from their experiences.

Bilstien 5100's lift the front by adjusting the coil seat with a moveable snap ring. Shocks themselves don't control ride height and the 5100's won't lift the rear cause it's on leaf springs.

You can go another inch with the 5100's and the coils you have but your gonna break the truck after that so just stick with your 3". If not, your gonna have to buy a whole other lift kit to gain more height.
