More performance???

    265/70/17 BFG RT's, FJ 17" rims with 1.25" spidertraxx Debadged, HID's, URD short shifter, Bilstein 5100's in the front, TSB and 1" block rear, URD TCAI with maf calibrator, JBL long tubes, DT Y pipe, Gibson exhaust, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Pioneer stereo, Bak flip G2 tonneau, TRD skid plate, MB Quarts all around with dynomat, Viper Alarm with motion sensor
    I've already got an intake, a throttle body spacer, which I don't think helps but doesn't hurt, headers and an exhaust. What can I do next around the same price as these items without losing gas mileage. Not really interested in forced induction and scared of programing devices because I'm not too familiar, or feel safe, about electronically tuning my vehichles computer by myself. I like the modules that you do not have to program but do they really work??? Are they damaging? I put it one in my 03 ranger and noticed an significant performance gain but have only read bad opinions about them in this forum. Any ideas?

    I got a bike for speed, but it's great to have power for crazy California driving.

    Basically, I have all these bolt on parts, do I need to do something else with the computer or can I just leave it?

    I totally forgot about that x-one people really speak highly of those! It sucks having a 4 banger haha non of the tool stuff :(

    the X-1 is amazing...it just costs over 1 grand!!!!

    if you have the cash its well worth it...but i know i dont have $1200~ to spend on a programmer

    Is the x-one complicated. I checked the website but all the computer tech stuff about vehichles is above my knowledge. Can anyone explain to me in lamens terms, exactly what it does?

    It allows someone who knows what they are doing to take your money and tune your truck- igintion, timing, and fuel feed- to better utilize the engine performance envelope in any configuration.
    A tuner like the APR X-1 grows with the build. Add a supercharger and re tune, change the exhaust or the pulley or anything else...and return.

    Prolly not the right tool for you if you feel car computers/ECUs are above your knowledge- Learn more THEN get the X-1.

    No magic formula to squeeze out more HP. Remember engines only need fuel, air, spark in it's basic form.

    Engine = Larger displacement
    Air = CIA, Exhaust manifold
    Fuel = Higher octane, NOS(never used)
    Spark = Electrical/Timing

    if your already s/c think about getting a larger fuel pump like walbro 225...even look into APR 7th injector...

    if that's not enough power and performance mods...talk to my buddy Eric...he owns TTC Performance and make forged internals for the 1GR-FE...

    you can always pm me...I got most of the part price listed....
