I don't know about the up and down adjustment measurements. The way I did mine was to drive it and adjust to where it was best. You don't want them to shine into the faces of oncoming traffic. I drive a good bit at night and it took me a few days and several small adjustments to get it right. With a truck, especially a tall one, you won't get it to where it never shines into the side mirror or back window of a car in front of you.

I was told the distance between steps should be the same distance as the two projectors. It is important that aiming is done on a level surface.

The way I aimed my retro on my integra as to drive up to a wall and turn my lights on. I placed a piece of tape the wall to mark where the headlights . Then drive back 25 feet and turn on the lights. Measure the distance from the ground to the middle of your projectors. Subtract 2 inches off this measurement and and put a piece of tape on the wall. That is where your cutoff line should be. For horizontal adjustment, align the beginning of the step to the tape marks you in the beginning (easier to do one at a time, I took a sweater to cover up one headlight while I was adjusting the other). I have also read of people who use levelling lasers and instead of tape to keep it as accurate as possible.

How much does this cost if you retro fit it yourself for all the parts usually?

mine do this as well but it has to be a gnarly bump but they do jiggle slightly. search on hid planet when you retro a HEAVY DUTY high temp epoxy and mounting with some type of bracket with nuts and bolts to stop the jiggling. that seems to be how alot of guys stoped this from happening on hid planet.

lol then the minis become not so easy to install lol. when my LS 460 retro get in i'm taking the mini set up off the truck and tightening everything up i'm going to work on this before i sell them. i didn't expect this when i had originally did the install i was actually careful not to tighten them to much as i have heard some guys on here break or crack that little aluminum ring that holds the actual projector to the light.

Color matched grill w/ grillcraft. BHLM and Morimoto Mini HID's Debadged.
Okay, I finally got some pictures done. See my gallery. I did the BHLM and the Morimoto mini's at the same. Also put in a color matched grill, then later a grill craft.

I'll do a DIY post sometime soon, don't have time today.

Looks good man. From the output picks, looks like you need to adjust the passenger side down.

Yep, I did, had a little rotation problem and fix it as best I could without taking the things apart again, and then turned the passenger side down a bit.
