I've made threads about this already I've ran all three setups in my 2017 TRD OR, the HID setup is by far the best way to go. I ran OPT7's both low beam and fog, they looked ok on normal city night driving but once I got them into the wilderness at night it was obvious they don't get light very far. Then ran Morimoto's and they shaked and blew through two ballasts (maybe my own fault not water proofing enough). Finally got the Phillips kit from Xenondepot and they blow the other options out of the water. Night time offroading they shoot way farther than the LEDs and penetrate distance even better than my 30" LED combo bar in my lower valence.

I just posted a video forging 30"+ deep water and my lights are still going strong, original ballasts no shake and I've taken them from subzero to 110 degree weather, mud, snow, ice, water, they just keep going.

Next step is to retrofit RX350 projectors and they'll be even better.

But Xenon depot kit > ANY LED bulb on the market.

I'm going to most likely pass on LED bulbs. Doesn't look impressive in my opinion. I also am fully aware a full retrofit would be the proper way, but the budget doesn't allow. My previous vehicle I had rx350 tuned projectors so I'm aware of what I would get.

Thank you. Ordered the Philips 4300 set from xenon Depot while the 20% off sale still going on.

While they have the sale I went and ordered the 4300k philips H11B bulbs too. Interested in comparing them against my current CNLight Ball Style 4300k.

Why no mention of the morimoto experience in any of your other posts?

It sounds like you went straight from OPT7 to the Phillips in the above posts

Can you confirm that the xenondepot kit w/ the Phillips bulbs uses hylux ballasts? I have this kit and I a just curious, because it seems my ballasts take a little long to fire, but this is my first hid kit. Love the kit. Btw, xenondepot advised the relay kit is not necceaery when installing their kit in our trucks

Yes, LED bulbs suck in low beam applications. Any pics that people have of them being brighter than stock is like 10' away from a garage wall.

Does it say so on the ballast itself? I can walk 20' to my garage and check for you.

For our trucks do we need the H11 HID Kit | Xtreme HID or the H11B HID Kit | Xtreme HID?

Per the link below, it has their company sticker on it that says xtreme hid on it. Was just curious cause I have heard good things about hylux ballasts

Don't want to make you go to your truck, just never examined the fine detail before installing.

I put in the same Morimoto system in my taco also. It was definitely a great upgrade compared to the stock halogens!
