has anyone thought about a bed rug? They do look really great but for how long? I hear they are really durable and clean up really well after hauling gravel and stuff.

We have a bed rug in our work truck (2000 z71) and I keeps stuff from sliding around very well. And it's somewhat easy to clean but you have to get under it too which can get a pain. I'd personally never have one especially with all the tie down areas on Tacomas but they do serve a purpose!

Sure is, I temporarily stuck these thing up with 3M tape while I was working on them. I needed to wait until it was dark to figure out the throw of the lights

Lol No, I wish I was that meticulous. My truck would be in immaculate condition. I was trying to figure out a solution for my steps so my little guy can see them at night. The kit that comes with the steps only has a few small holes for their cheesy lights go through and does not look good at all. I paid $12 for these

Out of everything I've done, the @ImMrYo rear-view mirror riser mod is my absolute favorite.

Weathertech floor liners and Wet Okole seat covers were dollar for dollar the most useful.

With that said, my favorite by far is my Leer 100R. I'll never go with an uncapped truck again. However, cost-wise it wasn't the best bang for the buck.

Always hot 12 volt socket in the bed pocket / LED bed lights. Those are the two cheapest mods i have done to my truck but the 2 most heavily used ones. hands down. See link in my sig.
