I'm looking for the most cost efficient (not cheapest) way to put 2-3 lights behind the grill on my 2012.
Not counting the cost of the lights, how much should I expect to spend? I don't even know who all makes the grills - I've seen grill craft mentioned, I've seen homertaco mentioned, and I've seen bamf mentioned for light mounts.
I'd prefer not to cut up the stock grill, so I need either a ready to install completed grill (matching my magnetic gray color) or to consider a replacement grill that I can cut on to mount the mesh.

I want at least 2 lights up there somewhere, and I'm not ruling out a normal light bar or bullbar - just trying to weigh all options.

You are going to have to open up that grill regardless as the stock grill blocks too much for any kind of lighting. The only possibility other than light bar, homer or grill craft might be to cut out parts of the grill and mount LED bars. But i don't know if they would get you what you are looking for. Mine are not for looks, they are for night driving so I had no problem cutting up the stock grill and mounting a grillcraft in there. Jerry at BAMF is a friend of mine and his light bars are top-notch products in terms of fit finish, ease of installation and versatility.
