**UPDATE NEW PIC WITH RED INLAY***

So I got a set of 951's for real cheap (they were banged up). I cant stand shiny chrome or gloss black so I decided to paint the rims a flat black. After doing so I thought... Hmm.. maybe I'll fill in the "moto metal" logo.

Need opinions. Feel free to roast if you dont like. I tried to get away from the whole "bro" look by painting black, but realized black is just as bro as the stock lol.

Should I fill the rest of the rims in with red or leave it stealth black?

Post a photo without the cards and from a different angle. Hard to say from that angle.

Thanks bro! The bro ho's are going to be all over me at the MX track next week when I debut my new flat brim Mulisha hat bro!

Whats satin black? Is it more of a glossy flat black?

So keep it all black or go with the red inlay?

The red fill in was suchhhh a b*tch! I had to go out of my way to get a freaking syringe to use since you need an RX for them here in cali lol.

flat black > matte black > satin black > gloss black > high gloss black

The more you move from left to right, the more glossy, but terms will differ between paint brands.

    I like my Moto Metal 951's, and I don't believe I am a bro...

I think they would look good with the satin black, but I'd have to see a pic without the cards...Maybe installed to give a better answer...

Cards? Ive never seen that before. I would leave the red because it looks more professional.

Funny...I was just looking at the Moto Metal site last night and though how much better the 951's would look without those stupid silver accents.

    Nice work...BRO.

I think they look dam good. I would throw on a few more coats, paint looks wavy..............or it might be still drying. I am no painter though

I think the waviness is the shadowing? I got over spray real bad until i realized I needed more air flow in the area i was painting.
thanks for all the comments guys! I'll look into Satin black.
I thought flat black and matte black were the same. I was wondering why the color was so rough looking.

Any comments on the red inlay in 2nd pic?

I just realized my brother drew a penis on one of the cards while i went in to get the phone to take a picture. that a$$!!!

i think you should paint over the red with black plus it will make it easier when ever you gotta touch it up

thanks Corndawg! Its ridiculously time consuming to fill the gaps with red paint. I used a syringe and it still took a good 25 minutes to do the lettering. O_O the circle parts would be way too hard lol

I like them, a lot. Definitely better matte black. I would paint the red letters, but thats just me. They still look good with the red lettering though, I'm just not a fan of lettering/accents
