    actually, i had an R6 years ago that topped out at 159mph. on an open road in clear day light it was smooth as ever. not the smartest thing to do, but what a rush in the right situations, but def not trying to outrun the cops!!!. thats just crazy talk.

    Yup. People get it in their heads that we are all douchebags on 2 wheels. I give extra room when bikers are splitting between lanes 1 and 2 (legal in Cali), but have seen many vehicles actually narrow the space as a bike approaches:eek:

    I wouldn't say balls of steel.. Sport bikes can reach these speeds very easy. And the faster you get going the more stable they feel. I've maxed my bike a handful of times and would love to go a hell of a lot faster if the bike would.
