I rode 13.5 miles of FINS yesterday. Left bleeding lol...

sadly, I ate shit within the first .8 miles... New bike, the pedals are a LOT lower than my last bike... stuck a rock and it bucked me off hard core. Finished riding, did the wooden features and the jumps over n over and then hit some of the hills in the back, out past spent spade, etc. Grunted my whole way up Grunt (exposure) and enjoyed the views and the AR15s shooting into the next hill.

Pretty nice trail system, has something for everyone (enchanted Forest was an interesting idea) but it's a 1 hr drive from my house lol.

 

You missed the best trails! The Pirate System is amazing too!!

 

Wheres pirate? Wasn't sure where I was heading at one point and was tired or climbing lol, so I circled back in with grunt

 

In search of a place I can set to the roof top tent and camp next to some good trails for a few days worth of riding

 

I think on the first page I posted a map of the Pirate System. Brethern Court is a must see. . .

 

I looked on trail forks, looks like I was close to it lol. It's an hour drive for me so maybe next time I'll hit it as well.

struggling to find a place around sedona (I thought there'd be a lot more camping there, but nope) that I can camp alongside a trail... I had envisioned this wonderful camping trip where I could basecamp the truck and just ride on and off the trails with ease into camp. Finding that's not the case

 

Rode pirate today. 13 miles of it. Blackjack kicked my ass. I was finding a few trails not on trailforks' maps, they seemed to be pretty fresh.

Pretty loose in areas, I don't think I've front tired washed that many times in one ride lol

 

Hit south mountain today. 22 miles of it... Ouch!

Oh... I left my brand new red and black Bell Enduro helmet on top of my RTT... I was able to find my sweat band but not the helmet when I turned around.

If you have it or see it anywhere/see it on any groups please let me know... That SOB wasn't cheap

 

Myself and a couple buddies will be in Sedona this weekend for a shred fest. Heading up Friday afternoon to setup base camp (East side of 17 off Stoneman Lake Rd or West off 89a and FR525.) We'll be riding all day Saturday then back to camp and possibly a little more riding Sunday morning.

 

Bumping this back to the top for attention, and get it rolling again.

Still need to get my bike on the actual trail. Right now I just have a suburban mall crawler. Hopefully this weekend.

 

Mines a garage queen.

I actually have a bike stand on order, should be here next week, then I need to adjust the front disc brake, I’m getting a small rub. Also have had family in town until the end of the weekend, so hopefully I can get the bike setup and tuned, and have no guests, for maybe a ride next weekend depending on the kids/wife plans.

Anyways the trails off Kings Ranch road in Gold Canyon. Great network of trailin there.
