While looking around on this site I could find very little on how I could continue to use my stock fog lights in an All Pro Apex bumper. So after looking around through a hardware store I came up with this.

I had it powdercoated locally to better match the colour of the truck. Also, our winter roads are pretty rough on finishes so I needed a better quality powdercoating job than what would be done in California. My only mistake while installing it is I should have sprayed all of the existing bolts with some liquid wrench a few days before I began as the threads were all badly corroded. In one case I actually broke the weld on a nut that was welded to the frame while trying to get the bolt out.

I used the exact same method and it has worked perfectly.

I've put on a lot of off-road miles and the have held on tight.

I tried this on my 13 and no dice. No way was the 4" going over the light Apex opening. I can see maybe a 6" working. Anyone know if the sizes were changed on the bumper or the fog lights? Just holding my stock lights in the the supplied hole in the bumper..visually there were huge gaps around the light. I should have taken pics.:annoyed:

I will have to try this as my rigged solution to hold the lights finally failed during an 8h gravel road trip.

ATO sells a bracket to hold stock fogs in an aftermarket bumper.

I used lots of silicon and a spring behind each one to hold them in place over night while the silicon dried because i didn't want to take the bumper off. Been off reading tons since then and they have yet to budge.

I went with the PIAA 4" lights. They make the stockers look like candles burning. Fit perfect and bolt right up. Love those AP bumpers.

Subd. I plan on getting one of these bumpers someday and using the factory fogs since I upgraded them with LEDs.
