Has anyone mounted a 60" hi-lift to the bed rails with a cap and decked system?

Leaves very little room and will need to mount directly into rail system.

Thinking 3/8 hex bolt to T-nut behind rail to washer, lock washer to star knob. Wondering if this will vibrate and if anyone has mounted with a similar setup.

I grabbed some husky Velcro hanging straps with carabiners built in from Home Depot and I basically tied the two ends of the lift to two of the bed cleats. Works well for what I need

i tried this with a 48” hi-lift extreme and it didn’t work out very well. The brackets depend on supporting themselves against the bed while hanging from the rails and without that support they were super unstable. I had them on for about a day, but it seemed like it was putting a ton of stress on the bed rail and it shook a lot when I hit 40ish mph.

How about one of the various brands of MOLLE bedside panels?

I’ve been using the Hi-Lift mounting setup with quick fists for an axe without any problem now for a couple of years. I’m not into rock crawling but have plenty miles on forest roads. I cut down a 60” extreme (A friend gave it to me).

Carriage bolts, with two sides of the head filed down a bit, fit right into the rails.

I did add a strap of alu for the front, but that was to clear the topper frame.

Ah, alright. Thanks for sharing and saving me the trouble of trying it myself.

I actually have one on the front of the bed now but I don't think any of them are compatible with a Decked system (without modification).

^ Thanks for the examples. I'm in the same boat as OP, looking for a mounting solution that clears a Decked platform. Haven't ordered it yet. Will likely start messing around with carriage bolts once I do.

Bumping this because I haven't found a better solution.

I'm running a Decked system and have a camper shell, and want to mount both a hi-lift and maxtrax on the same side bed rail.
