I have an 2020 Off-Road and got a TRD skid plate. The bolts are a different pattern than my two black skid plates. On the front bolts, do I need to remove the ones from the sub-member and mount it to that location? I dont see any other area to mount it.

    Thanks

I got my new to me TRD skid plate mounted up today. The two 17mm bolts in the middle are snug but I when I was trying to torque to 33 ft-lbs I was worried I might snap the bolt because I just wouldn't quite torque.

The front two bolts torqued fine, as did the two 12mm bolts in the rear.

Any thoughts on why the middle two didn't torque?
